My client, based in Sandwich is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in this newly created position. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you be assisting in the smooth running of the finance department and ensure all work is completed to agreed timescales.
Responsibilities:
· Producing Management Accounts
· Presenting the MA’s to the SLT
· Project costings
· Stock control
· Cashflow forecasting
· P&L forecasting
· Fixed asset registers including additions, disposals, depreciation.
· Analysing variances – compare actuals v budget
· KPI Reporting
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Project reporting
· Implementing procedures to streamline processes
· Ad hoc projects
Candidate Profile:
· AAT Studier/AAT Qualified/PQ CIMA
· Experience in an Assistant Management Accountant covering management accounts preparation, accruals/prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and fixed assets
· Good Excel skills including pivot tables, v/xlookups, sumif statements.
· Good organisational skills with the ability to meet fixed deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards.
· The ability to deal with demanding and complex requests.
