Responsibilities:
· Establish and manage monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial governance frameworks
· Partner closely with Strategic Programme leadership and overhead function heads
· Analyse financial data to uncover performance insights and improvement opportunities
· Build financial models to evaluate scenarios and support key decision-making
· Ensure accurate accounting treatment of operating costs and capital expenditures
· Draft and document processes to support financial control and compliance
· Provide senior-level financial insights to support group consolidation
Profile:
· Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic background and a knack for simplifying complex financial concepts.
· You thrive in environments of change and bring a proactive, collaborative spirit to everything you do.
· Analytical and creative, with the confidence to work independently and the communication skills to influence at senior levels.
· Experience in liquidity management, forecasting, and financial reporting
· Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
· Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Python, or automation tools is a plus
· Prior exposure to engineering or construction sectors is considered desirable
On Offer:
· £55k - £75k basic salary
