Our client is a successful, privately owned company that has experienced strong growth over the past few years and offers a warm and inclusive working culture. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and help guide the business through its next phase of growth. You’ll take ownership of financial decision-making, reporting, and strategic planning, working closely with directors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the budgeting process.
· Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
· Produce and maintain cashflow forecasts.
· Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
· Oversee banking, VAT, and tax responsibilities.
· Monitor and control costs, highlighting trends and variances.
· Develop and manage reporting dashboards.
· Ensure robust financial systems, processes, and controls.
· Prepare for and attend monthly management/shareholder meetings.
· Implement and monitor KPI’s and support team members in achieving optimal performance.
· Maintain processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of ledgers and prompt collection of AR balances and payment of AP balances.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Finance Manager (or similar) role.
· Relevant accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE).
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Confident using financial software and Excel
