We are looking for a talented and driven Finance Analyst/Accountant to join a growing team in a highly respected Kent business. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, finance colleagues, and operational teams, giving you exposure across the business and the chance to make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes, including the preparation of monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts. You’ll also ensure accurate reporting for joint ventures and subsidiaries, with a focus on compliance and effective cash management.

Key Responsibilities

·       Preparation of monthly P&Ls, cash flows, and balance sheets, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.

·       Delivery of rolling forecasts, quarterly group submissions, and annual budgets.

·       Monitoring and communicating cash flow forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.

·       Performing balance sheet reconciliations and control reviews on a monthly basis.

·       Supporting accurate reporting of joint venture financials, with detailed reviews of balances and controls.

·       Conducting financial reviews/credit checks on potential partners and suppliers.

·       Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects, such as cash optimisation, efficiency reviews, and system/process improvements.

·       Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and internal policies, maintaining accurate financial records.

The Ideal Candidate

·       Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist.

·       Strong financial and analytical skills, with excellent Excel and system knowledge.

·       Commercial awareness and the ability to understand long-term financial impacts.

·       Comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines.

·       Analytical, adaptable, and detail-focused, with the ability to solve problems creatively.

·       Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
