A growing multi-entity organisation is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys improving systems and processes, and can deliver accurate financial information under tight deadlines.
Key Duties
· Producing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
· Controlling and reviewing purchase & sales ledgers, petty cash, and card transactions
· Completing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
· Posting payroll journals and maintaining working papers
· Managing inter-company transactions
· Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
· Preparing VAT and regulatory returns
· Supporting the statutory audit process
· Contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
· The successful candidate will be a part-qualified or ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified accountant
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V/H lookups)
· Experience with ERP or business management systems (Xero/Navision desirable)
· Excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
· Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information
· A commercial mindset and a willingness to adopt a hands-on approach
