Our client based in the Bromley, Kent is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is part-time for 3 days – 21 hours a week. You may also be able to work some of the days remotely.
The company has grown and been through some big changes over the last 12 months so they are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and who will be pro-active with new ideas on how to do things.
Your main focus for the role will be to take responsibility for the day-to-day transactional tasks within the finance function which will include the accounts payable and accounts receivable.
The main tasks will include:
· Input purchase invoices
· Chase sales reports in from customers
· Download Billing reports and prepare sales invoices
· Deal with queries from customers and liaise with Account Managers and Customer Care where needed
· General reporting to assist Sales team and Finance Director where needed
· Import credit external banking information
What you will need is:
· Recent all-round accounts experience within a similar role
· Be looking for part-time work on a permanent basis
· Ideally you will be at AAT level 3
· Good Excel skills
· Be proactive and able to suggest process changes
