Finance and Admin Officer | Whitstable/Remote | £30k
A new and exclusive role - our client is seeking a Finance and Admin Officer to take ownership of the day-to-day finance and administration. This role is remote with occasional travel for meetings to Whitstable and London once or twice a month. This role sits at the core of the operation, shaping a seamless and standout experience. You’ll be a key player in keeping our processes running smoothly while supporting vital administration and finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Chasing overdue payments
· Processing supplier invoices
· Dealing with customer and supplier queries via telephone contact
· Processing and reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
· Prepare bank reconciliations
· Reconciliation and maintenance of company fixed asset register
· Occasional management and banking of cash
· Co-ordinate membership engagement activities
· Managing and maintaining the database ensuring accurate and up to date records
· Process accurate financial transactions connect to membership including generating invoices
· Administer applications, payments and communication
· Production of resources for member packs, content, website updates and mailing campaigns
· Ad hoc duties will include coordinating meetings and assist with event set up
Ideal Candidate:
· Proven experience within finance and accounts position
· Excellent administration and organisational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
· High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
· Experience Sage 50
