Our client based on the outskirts of Maidstone, is looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant to join a part of their busy but small finance team. This is the perfect role for someone looking to start their career within finance.
Key responsibilities:
· Check all incoming purchase invoices / credits via email and post
· Liaise with hire department on hire purchase invoices
· Input all invoices onto CRM system, matching against appropriate purchase order numbers and save
· Input overhead invoices onto Xero accounting system
· Deal with all purchase queries both internally and externally
· Post warranty credits and reconcile
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Liaise with suppliers on payment runs
· Complete new credit application forms for new suppliers
· Create and update suppliers on CRM system
· Answer calls within the office
· Daily and additional accounts tasks within the accounts office
