Our industry leading Dover based client are looking for an assistant accountant to join their finance team to support with reconciliations and monthly management accounts. This role is heavy on excel & data manipulation, so they require someone with advanced excel experience.

 

Key responsibilities:

·       Balance sheet reconciliations, including banks and intercompany.

·       Assist expense processing and accruals.

·       Create monthly management accounts file, ensuring all sage transactions are captured and TB reconciled.

·       Monthly gross profit reconciliations, analysis and accruals.

·       Monthly overhead prepayment and accruals.

·       Assist sales ledger and purchase ledger with reporting and advanced adhoc problem solving.

·       Other ad-hoc duties and reporting as required.

 

Key requirements:

·       Part qualified, or studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA.

·       Advanced excel experience is essential (i.e. vlookup, sumif, pivot table, if statements, etc.).

·       Experience in preparing management accounts.

·       Experience in reconciliations.
