Our Medway based client who are a supplier to the construction industry are looking for an Accounts Manager to join their business.
They are looking for an Accounts Manager who has knowledge using Sage, you will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and a willingness to adopt and use innovative technology.
Key duties of the finance role:
· Preparation of accounts using Sage.
· Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll.
· Preparation of monthly CIS returns.
· Working with our external accountants to prepare monthly management accounts.
· Preparation of monthly management reports and updating budgets.
· Importing of sales invoices into Sage.
· Review of applications and retentions.
· Review of work in progress with external accountants.
· Assisting with credit control and dealing with customer queries
· Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns
· Reconciling key control accounts on a monthly basis, (VAT, PAYE and net wages).
· Dealing with supplier queries and payment of suppliers.
· General administration duties required.

· Excellent Computer skills (MS Excel, Project, Word).
