Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality financial analysis to support business planning and commercial decision‑making.
- Analyse financial data, trends, and performance drivers, providing actionable insights to management.
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
- Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with operational and commercial teams.
- Monitor budget variances, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyse operating costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Maintain financial systems and data integrity, driving automation and process improvements.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks across commercial operations.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a commercially focused finance professional with strong analytical capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience as a Finance Analyst or Finance Business Partner within a commercial finance environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel capability.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in a multi‑site, operational or service‑led industry is advantageous.
