The Role
The role will support the delivery of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and commercial decision-making across a key business area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operational and commercial teams, challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing meaningful financial insight that helps drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets.
- Deliver insightful analysis of business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to support decision making.
- Present financial performance and commentary to senior management.
- Drive margin analysis, reporting improvements and financial controls.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, challenging assumptions where required.
- Assist with projects, process improvements and business change initiatives.
- Support audit and compliance activities while maintaining a strong control environment.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships across the business and influencing positive outcomes.
You will ideally have:
- Finalist level accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or be qualified by experience.
- Experience within retail, FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale or a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing as part of a wider team.
